About the role

As the Recruitment Co-Ordinator, you will support the process of selecting and onboarding top-tier talent. You'll be part of a small, energetic in-house recruitment team tasked with making sure we're finding, hiring and onboarding the right people for the job.

You will help develop and implement recruitment processes and create a positive experience for candidates.

This position reports directly to the Recruitment Manager and collaborates closely with Executive Directors and Managers to understand staffing needs and organisational goals.

Your accountabilities
  1. Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for various positions within Service Victoria, from job posting to offer acceptance.
  2. Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
  3. Schedule interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
  4. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide support in identifying top talent.
  5. Support the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and reports for analysis and decision-making purposes.
Selection Criteria
  1. Proven experience in recruitment coordination, preferably within the IT industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  4. Knowledge of recruitment best practices and the ability to source and screen candidates effectively.
  5. Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Experience and qualifications
  1. Proven experience in recruitment co-ordination, preferably within the IT industry or similar fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Since 1 September 2022, the Victorian Government permits employees to return to offices. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and the state-of-the-art offices in Footscray and Ballarat, by negotiation.
