About the company:Our client, a community-minded organization in the east, is looking for a HR Coordinator to join their people and culture department. You will report to the Director of People and Culture. The people and culture department are very collaborative and foster an inclusive forward-thinking culture.This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday through to Friday. The role is initially for a 1-month contract and could lead to longer-term opportunities.Your key responsibilities include:

• Provide timely, first line HR advice and support to leaders and staff on operational HR related matters
• Prepare and monitor staff correspondence from drafting and distribution to return and record keeping
• Interpret and provide accurate advice regarding Enterprise Agreements and relevant Modern Awards
• Support leaders and staff through end-to-end HR processes including induction, probation management, staff development, performance and movement, and the offboarding process
• Prepare, collect and record accurate people data including role classifications, position descriptions, employment letters and records
• Monitor internal HR databases and support the continuous improvement of HR processes and work practices

You will have the following experience:

• Qualification in Human Resource Management
• Prior experience in an HR-related role
• Excellent technical skills and sound knowledge of employee database systems
• Passionate about best practice HR and recruitment
