As a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist, you will be deployed to an Australian-grown tech giant on a 3-4 month assignment, where you will be working directly with their in-house talent acquisition team. You will recommend and execute sourcing strategies with a focus on passive talent and be an ambassador for Allegis Global Solutions and your client's brand at every interaction.
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Undertaking recruitment activities with a focus on top-of-funnel sourcing for Front and Backend Core Engineers (Senior Software Engineers), as well as inbound job applications and referrals on a rotation basis.
- Understanding the recruitment delivery process and carrying out activities accordingly to ensure that account KPIs are met.
- Communicating recruitment trends, and market intelligence, and acting as a talent advisor to hiring managers.
- Identifying and escalating risk or compliance issues.
- Managing requisitions through accurate documentation of all recruitment-related data and information as per current recruitment legislation and agreed client process at all times.
- Possess excellent CX skills to ensure a positive experience.
- Providing professional advice and open and honest feedback to candidates promptly and in accordance with recruitment best practices.
- Utilising specialist market knowledge to assist with the ongoing management of pre-qualified talent pools.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in sourcing/recruiting candidates in the Core Engineering space (passive and active), within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the Australian market in terms of roles (Core Engineers - Senior Software Engineers, Frontend and Backend, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to build strong talent pools in engineering.
- Successful experience managing multiple searches, and stakeholders, at different stages of the recruitment lifecycle at the same time.
- Strong negotiation skills, in addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Job Platforms, and KARAT.
- Prior experience in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ICIMS.
- Ability to write client-oriented communications e.g. Emails, InMail, chat
- A tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline is highly desirable, such as a Bachelor’s degree preferred (but not mandated).
- Ability to commit for the duration of the assignment is required.
