The Role : This position supports and provides advice to the Operations team through safe and timely coordination of site activities for client projects, in accordance with company's and client's processes and procedures.
You need to be a pro-active self- starter, able to forgo strong working relationships and be capable of managing your own time effectively.
You must have excellent organisational and prioritised as well administrative skills required to maintain training and compliance logs and employee records.
Responsibilities:
Managing the recruitment and on-boarding and induction process of new employees in response to project demands
Provide coaching, advice and support to managers on employee performance planning and professional development processes
Respond to employee payroll queries by providing information about award interpretation, pay clarification and associated penalties and benefits
Coordinate varying roster arrangements, including for manning on mining projects
Engage with external advisors to obtain advice about workplace practices and laws and other relevant legislation
Work with managers and supervisors on all matters related to relevant workplace awards/and legislation, dispute resolution and case management and employee relations, including providing advice and coaching
Manage general HR Administration such as recruitment requisitions, new starter packs and employment contracts, bonus letters, salary/wage increase notifications etc.
Managing and maintaining all employee data within the HRIS.
Coordinate employee and position changes and variation process.
Coordinate monthly HR reporting and tracking HR costs.
Coordinate with Payroll on all employee changes.
Managing and maintaining the training database for all employees.
Requirements:
Advanced level of computer systems including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Experience administrating and maintaining large volumes of data.
Knowledge and ability to interpret and provide advice regarding the application of the FWA, Enterprise Agreements, Policies and Procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Customer-focused and always looking for new ways to drive efficiencies.
Comfortable handling sensitive information and remaining highly confidential.
