Beaumont&Beaumont is pleased to present an opportunity for a number of APS5 Case Managers to join the Complex Case Management team in a major Commonwealth Government Department.
The successful candidates will be responsible for administration work and managing complex cases, ensuring applications accurately reflect the legislation and policy of the Department.
The duties would be those equivalent to an APS5:
- Conduct detailed research and analysis;
- Keep accurate and comprehensive records (include report writing, case notes, and official records);
- Provide quality control and quality assurance on applications and check the work quality of others (IDMs);
- Communicate confidently through written and verbal communication and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate ways;
- Apply high level research and analytical skills to make accurate conclusions based on available information and legislation.
To be considered for this position you must have the:
- Ability to apply relevant policies, procedures and guidelines to progress applications
- Analytical skills to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence
- Experience in inbound and outbound calls to provide updates on progress of applications (APS5 level)
- Ability to use online systems (for example, but not necessarily, Case Manager), keeping accurate and comprehensive records
- Ability to use SharePoint or a similar tracker would be a plus
- Under limited direction, has excellent time management skills and is responsive to changes
- Accountable for organising their workflow
- Judgement, intelligence and common sense, escalating risks and issues when needed
