As the Referrer Engagement Partner, you are responsible for increasing awareness and driving growth of our cardiology services throughout the referrer network in South Australia. The Referrer Engagement Partner will directly promote our service offer to existing and potential referrers and build meaningful relationships with them to drive volumes and new service growth. This role is responsible for increasing referral activity across the state, by building productive and effective working relationships with general practices and hospitals to raise awareness and facilitate referral pathways for our services.

This part-time role will report to the Head of Brand & Marketing and will work closely with the Doctor group to ensure communications and activities are delivered in a coordinated manner.

What you’ll do: 

  • Building and maintaining networks in the General Practice, hospital and other relevant medical community for your state through regular interactions with existing and potential referrers and influencing healthcare professionals.
  • Executing Referrer Engagement educational activities with General Practice, hospital and other relevant medical sectors.
  • Regularly visiting GP practices, hospital wards/departments and other specialists and present the relevant Advara HeartCare value proposition with the aim of generating referrals and maintaining/building referrer relationships. This includes ensuring referral ease through equipping referrers for electronic referrals and identifying opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies.
  • Maintaining our CRM, including tracking of meetings and updating profiles of referrers. With support from the national RE partner, review data analysis of referral trends to identify opportunities in South Australia. 
  • Coordinate the delivery of events, focussing on maximising the depth of relationship with referrers. This will include local coordination of invites and rsvps, local promotion and event management and attendance on the day.

Who you are: 

  • Tertiary qualification in business or health related field
  • Proven success in sales and/or direct engagement role ideally in a healthcare services environment, with strong commercial accumen and ability to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive outcomes for patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven results in successful stakeholder management and demonstrated ability to influence and motivate a team
  • Strong analytical and strategic abilities with understanding and experience in demonstrating how data-driven approaches deliver outcomes
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound judgements based on data and analysis.
