Skills and Requirements:
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and any other trade specific tickets and licenses preferable but not essential.
- Hold a current driver's license or willing to obtain.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Hold a current NSW construction white card.
- Positive can-do attitude and hard-working mentality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of new Air Conditioning systems (Tradesman)
- Provide service and repairs to various types of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment, this will also include fault-finding and diagnosing (Tradesman)
- Installing, repairing, or replacing parts such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, air filters, switches, controls and gauges. Including checking that parts are installed, lined up and fit properly (Tradesman)
- Training and mentoring apprentices, whilst developing their skills (Tradesman)
- Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and components. (Apprentice)
- Attend Tafe and pass all modules when required to. (Apprentice)
- Maintaining industry knowledge, keeping up to date with new materials and equipment
- Attend and pass any training courses we require you to obtain.
- Deal professionally and reliably with a wide range of different stakeholders – whether it be a maintenance officer, schoolteacher, project manager or an elderly resident
- Complete administrative tasks:
- Documenting work performed
- Recording materials used
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
