Our engineering team sits within our wider strategic W360 department who are responsible for creating, re-invigorating and maintaining the look and feel of our supermarket business. In this role you will support the National Sustainable Engineering Manager in developing, trialling and deploying best practice showcase engineering.

What you'll do

• Provide subject matter expertise on refrigerated showcases and hot food displays
• Support the development, trial and deployment of showcase engineering best practices to optimise energy consumption and drive sustainable designs
• Manage key relationships with showcase manufacturers to bring to life merchandising concepts
• Support product development from initial business brief, store trials, post implementation reviews through to product standardisation
• Work in conjunction with Woolworths Refrigeration Field Engineers to support store showcase layouts and design Support showcase scope development for new store builds and renewal projects

What you'll bring

• You have a background in commercial refrigeration, with exposure to showcase design
• You either have Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering preferred, OR Trade qualifications in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• You have project management experience with exposure to budgets
• Commercial refrigeration experience in supermarkets, FMCG or an Industrial environment will be highly regarded
• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders to drive outcomes
