Senior Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer

We provide complete industrial refrigeration solutions, including design, construction and comprehensive servicing for a wide range of sectors including food and beverage, government, chemical, gas processing and mining which keeps this role challenging yet rewarding.

As a result of our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team, based in our Sydney Office in Kings Park. Our company is predominantly a service-based business experiencing high levels of growth in medium and large-scale projects and are looking for an experienced engineer.

Your Role

• Quote, design & manage Industrial refrigeration projects
• Identify new business solutions and develop sales
• Meet with clients to determine technical solutions for their needs
• Work alongside suppliers and sub-contractors to provide high quality solutions 
• Carry out site performance and compliance audits 
• Lead our project team and mentor developing members
• Establish procedures to streamline work processes across our projects division
• Create technical drawings
• Assist our service department with technical & engineering advice

About You

• Qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor level degree
• Experience in an industrial or commercial refrigeration sectors such as Ammonia & Co2 Systems. 
• Understanding of relevant standards and codes. 
• Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Derisible to have experience in AutoCAD and Solid Works
• Australian citizenship and residency with valid driver’s license.
• High level communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
• Strong focus to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage, prioritise multiple activities/ project deliverables.
