Refrigeration Mechanic/ Dual Trade Albany Wa

DJL Electrical & Air Conditioning  is a locally owned and operated business in Albany WA with a team of 10 employees, We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic/ Dual trade Technician who is interested in working in our team in a full-time capacity on a long term basis.

Albany is located 400km South of Perth on the South Coast surrounded by pristine beaches, excellent facilities, endless activities and a coastal lifestyle.

All our staff have an RDO every fortnight on a Friday, we also give our staff a flexible family friendly roster during their working week.

You will be working within a dedicated team, the role will require you to provide electrical installation, service & maintenance to our valued clients within the great southern region with the majority of our work being in the commercial/ Industrial service maintenance sector. 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will:

• Have a sound knowledge of complex electrical control circuits, motors and fault finding skills
• Sound knowledge in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector 
• Sound communication and customer service skills, coupled with technical ability
• Proven ability to work under minimal supervision and achieve outcomes in a timely manner;
• Proven ability to provide guidance and leadership to apprentices and other staff;
• Confident problem solving skills
• Good decision-making abilities and work ethic
• Fluent computer and technology skills
• Excellent sales/ up sell skills and ability to hit set targets

Other requirements for this role include:

• Current 'A grade' WA electrical licence; (Advantage)
• OHS white card (required)
• Current C Class WA driver's licence (HR preferred)
• Police Clearance.(required)
• EWP Operator Licence (preferred)
• Pegasus Woolworth's Induction (preferred)
• WPCG Fuel Induction (preferred)
• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning) (required)
• Split System installation licence (required)
• An ACMA open registration is highly preferred but not essential.
• Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or have full working rights
