About the role
The Regional CEO role is a unique opportunity to lead and oversee the Calvary services in ACT and Southern NSW to ensure financial and clinical performance, optimum safety, quality services, and cost-effective resource management. Reporting to the National Chief Operations Officer, and working alongside other Calvary executives, you will facilitate an integrated approach to the performance and growth of your services, whilst also contributing to the overall organisational strategy.
Our operations in ACT and Southern NSW are integral to the delivery of our mission and ongoing success of Calvary. Comprising 5 Residential Aged Care Facilities, Home Care services, 3 Private Hospitals and 1 Public Hospital with approximately 3,000 employees, the operations are varied and complex. This is an exciting time to join our organisation and help drive our services to meet the healthcare needs of the community, now and into the future.
The position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as required.
What you bring
- Graduate qualifications in Health, Management or Business related discipline.
- Significant experience and effective performance in a senior executive leadership role in a complex health organisation
- A strong commitment to the philosophy and mission of Calvary and ability to work within and promote the national strategic direction and corporate vision of Calvary.
- High level analytical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions, solve unusual and complex systemic problems, provide high level advice and develop effective practical solutions.
- A strong commercial focus, together with proven high-level business development skills and experience, strong financial management skills and business acumen.
- Experience in managing complex relationships in particular with medical professionals and government agencies.
- A demonstrated awareness and understanding of the current and likely future environment in which the hospitals, Aged Care and Home Care operate, including the political context.
