In this role, you'll: Working as part of the Network Maintenance Regional Corridor Services (North) team this role will see you be responsible for overseeing a small team which manages and audits a program of Corridor works, predominantly vegetation, and also the maintenance of Access Roads (Vegetation & Civil), Drainage, Fencing Repairs, Graffiti, Litter and other Corridor Services related to the safety and appearance of the rail and high voltage feeder corridors.
You will enjoy a varied role defining and delivering annual works plans and supply agreements as well as driving program delivery across the region using a project management focus of safety, risk, environment, quality, budget, timeframes and customer expectations.
You will also work with large budgets, using supply agreements and splitting into packages of work to meet required routine maintenance of the rail corridors. For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description.
About you Your background in Project Management, team management, maintenance works programs and contracts will see you successfully address the challenges of working in a rail environment and understand routine maintenance management to allow you to coordinate the access for contractors to deliver works.
You will have excellent contract management and auditing skills and you will have a strong ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders both internal and external.
Your strong people management and co-ordination skills will see you successfully manage a program of Corridor works. You will also be an expert at forward planning by identifying requirements and developing and delivering scope of works.
Your customer service skills will be exceptional to allow you to deal with the general public, councils and landowners regarding any updates of works as well as dealing with complaints.
