About The Role:
Reporting to the Qld Group Manager People and Culture, this role will provide active support, guidance and advice to leaders and staff and operate as the 2IC to the site Human Resources Manager on the large site of 1000. The role will support the workforce in areas such as policy and process, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and EA interpretation. This role will also be involved in merger & acquisition activities and companywide initiatives focused on creating an engaged and high performing workforce. To excel in this role, you will have:
- Previous HRBP experience in heavy industry (mining, construction, manufacturing)
- Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and practical application of the Fair Work Act
- You enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and working close to operations.
- Can work with multiple stakeholder groups to achieve an outcome
- Commitment to creating a positive and safe working environment
- Minimum of 6 years working as a HR Business Partner
- Good negotiation, coaching and influencing skills and a genuine and personable manner
- Experience with HR systems
- Understanding of business operations.
- Experience in an industrial workplace/blue collar workforce
- Consultative and positive approach to work.
