This ASX listed business has extensive operations locally as well as in Asia and the USA. Their workforce is diverse, ranging from customer service professionals through to specialist engineers, corporate functions, operators, drivers and technical staff. They are undergoing significant transformation and are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to join their People and Culture team in Brisbane.
The role reports to the HR Manager and works closely with divisional business leaders and corporate functions to ensure that policies, processes, programs and systems are delivered and aligned to the Group's strategy, vision and objectives. Partnering with internal and external stakeholders you will be providing HR advice, direction and consultation to the business, establishing sound relationships and engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities / skills:
Strong focus on partnering with the HR Manager to assist with IR issues and lead enterprise negotiations across various sites
Support leaders with disciplinary matters as they arise
Support and contribute to various P&C activities including but not limited to: annual performance processes, employee engagement surveys, objectives and workforce planning.
Business Partnering: Understand business needs, drivers, HR solutions and delivery of HR strategies
Organisational Development: leadership development, training and talent development, training initiatives and programs and performance management
Assist with the annual performance and reward cycle for the Division
Actively promote a positive and consultative HR style to the broader business
Participate and contribute as a change champion within the business in line with the business, growth and change strategies
Contribute to a national HR team in project and procedural initiatives
Assist with future M&A activity
The successful candidate will have considerable experience within a similar outcome focused role/environment, outstanding relationship building, strong consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills and the ability to interact effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have a true understanding of the different facets of working within a large, multi-site organisation. Experience drawn from a publicly listed business with multiple business units will be highly regarded. You will also have a solutions-focused approach, well-developed business acumen and an ability to deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive and dynamic way. You will be degree qualified in Business and/or Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or a related field.
