The Company

Our client is a well recognisable, leading national brand embarking on a period of rapid growth and development. They are on an exciting journey forward to the creation of a unique premise which will underpin the changing face of leisure, entertainment, and experience for Australia. With significant growth plans in the immediate future, this organisation is currently navigating through a transformation to mature their offering and ready their teams (current and projected) for their next chapter. With all the hallmarks of stability but also growth, this role will see you collaborate directly with General Managers, Executives and Chiefs to establish a trusted voice for People & Culture within the organisation and drive positive outcomes and experiences for all those connected with the People team.

The Leaders

This role reports directly to the Head of People & Culture who is an experienced and supportive people leader. This position also forms part of a larger, sophisticated HR function with Centre of Excellence verticals, providing the opportunity to partner with subject matter experts across L&D, ER, Reward, Talent and Engagement.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll utilise your sharp commercial acumen to provide strategic advice, equipping Senior P&C leaders with the necessary insights and data to make crucial people decisions amid periods of growth and change. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for any P&C related queries within your portfolio, offering guidance to leaders that helps them better utilise HR resources available to them.
  • Providing consistent and effective hands-on advice and coaching to leaders, building strong, trusted relationships along the way.
  • Acting as a bridge between each business function and the Centres of Excellence within P&C, utilising the expertise of CoE colleagues to enhance support across all areas of the business.
  • Fostering the growth of senior and mid-level leaders by equipping them with the essential skills necessary for effective leadership (in partnership with L&D).
  • Investigating the specific needs of leaders, analysing factors affecting their performance, and sharing insights with P&C stakeholders that inform the design of tailored P&C initiatives.
  • Supporting with a broad range of project responsibilities during a time of transformation and growth.
About You

This role is suited to a confident, polished HR professional with a demonstrated ability to provide effective advice to stakeholders and partner with team members across P&C to uplift capability and identify solutions. Ideally, you will possess exposure to matrix environments that operate at a fast pace and with best practice at the forefront of what they do. You will also enjoy taking a hands-on approach where you are present and highly visible to key stakeholders within your portfolio. More broadly, you will be a proactive problem-solver who is capable of establishing robust working relationships and be comfortable operating across the full employee lifecycle in a true generalist capacity! Any exposure to hospitality, entertainment or consulting could be advantageous.

The Process

This process will consist of an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant followed by interviews with the Head of P&C and the Senior P&C Manager.
