I am working exclusively on an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR BP or Coordinator who is looking to consolidate their career in a significant role based in Ipswich. This BP role will give you exposure and hands-on experience across the employee life cycle - and you will have an unlimited opportunity to grow in the role while being supported to make that growth happen. You will also get variety where no two days are the same.
Role overview:
The role provides support to the business across the employee lifecycle. Areas of focus include recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, probation reviews and supporting supervisors and managers with their HR challenges.
The role is the first point of contact for HR queries and assists the General Manager with HR tasks, including compliance, employee development, performance, engagement and alignment.
Your day will look a little like this:
- Provides first-level advice on employment policies and procedures
- Escalate or resolve issues and queries, while making recommendations consistent with your experience and knowledge;
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment processes, including a strong focus on a workforce focussed on caring for clients in the community
- Undertake onboarding processes for new employees
- Undertake the offboarding process for exiting employees
- Prepare payroll reports for review
- Work with the GM to deliver HR projects and tasks
Your experience will include the following:
- Previous tertiary studies and experience in the HR space
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to establish rapport and develop effective working relationships
- Demonstrated capacity to balance business and people needs to achieve best outcomes
