The Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing our two Victorian workshops in Northern Victoria (Strathmerton) & Laverton North. As Regional Maintenance Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the performance and development of the Victorian workshops. The position will be based in either Laverton North or Strathmerton with the expectation to travel between regularly.
- Overseeing both workshops and ensuring maintenance is carried out in accordance with the fleet policy.
- Managing external suppliers & high-level warranty claims.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the Victorian Workshops.
- Mentoring Workshop Managers & foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading initiatives to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of the fleet.
To be successful you will possess the following skills and experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance management.
- Heavy Diesel Trade certificate is required.
- Previous experience managing budgets & strong analytical skills.
- Experience with effective recruitment and management of team members.
- Above average computer literacy skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Reliable, flexible and team orientated.
- Attention to detail & excellent written & interpersonal communication.
- Willingness to travel.
