We are currently seeking a passionate and professional Regional Managers - Youth and Programs, to join our State Office Management Team to support our Central Queensland Region. As Regional Manager, you will collaborate closely with QPS Senior Sergents and the State Operations Manager to effectively implement PCYC's Social Impact Action plan within your region. This position has the flexibility to be based at one of our PCYC clubs within your region (Rockhampton, Blackwater, Emeral, Gladstone, Mackay, Bowen or Whitsundays, subject to club availability). Your New Role
The Regional Manager will work collaboratively with Queensland Police Service (QPS) Senior Sergeants to lead and manage teams to ensure the region delivers the Social Impact Action Plans. A key focus of this role is to ensure program contractual outcomes are met while leading a positive culture to build team capabilities. To be successful in this role, you will develop and articulate a clear strategic vision for youth programs within your region, aligned with organisational goals and Community needs. About You
- A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable, or significant experience in the industry in lieu of a qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Youth and Community Programs
- At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role
- Demonstrated ability in contract management across government corporate community entities.
- Ability to work with Government stakeholders at a local and state level to add value to existing youth engagement strategies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to travel across the state as required
- Hold a current unrestricted driver’s license.
