About the role
This role will be based on the Sunshine Coast. You will spend 3-4 days on Sunshine Coast and 1-2 days in Brisbane.
We are in search of an experienced cleaning and maintenance operations Manager to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to provide support to the operations and business development manager, our current clients and site supervisors and cleaning teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service in line with our commitment to excellence.
You will be 20% hands on and 80% leadership/training, and account management.
On occasion, hours of work may include some weekends, public holidays, early mornings or nights.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders (clients & cleaners)
- Rostering, onboarding, training & identifying gaps in staff performance
- Ensure client contractual obligations are met with training, inspections, audits, test-n-tag
- Manage stock & consumables for all sites
- Report all issues relating to standard, service capability, site changes, additional works, HR issues
- Provide safety training and implementation
- Conduct quarterly Quality Assurance audits of all sites
- Support BDM with account start-ups, transfers & issues
- Provide reports according to Operations systems on quality, safety, site activity
- Attend client & BDM Manager meetings
- Some Business Development related work
About you
- Commercial management experience in cleaning Industry
- Local to the Sunshine Coast with strong network relations
- Tech savvy
- Energetic & willing to be hands-on
- Sound understanding of workplace health & safety
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft suite
- Outstanding customer service, interpersonal and administration skills
- Hungry for growth!
