Our Purpose: We advocate for Australians with layered disadvantages — those with disability, cultural and language barriers — to have equal opportunity for a better life.

About the role

The primary objective of the Regional Project Officer – CoP role is to facilitate the development of a self-sustaining Regional Disability Support Worker CoP hub in the Goldfields.

Kin will partner with key local organisations to ensure optimum engagement and build sustainability beyond the term of the project.

The Regional Project Officer – CoP will deliver the project based out of Kalgoorlie, working in collaboration with the Project Coordinator – CoP who is based out of Kin’s Osborne Park (Perth) Office, and a Regional Project Officer - CoP based in Broome who will be developing the Kimberley CoP.

Delivery of in-person, skills development workshops, mentoring and consultancy, as well as supporting in the creation of materials and resources are project deliverables to support the CoP.

There is considerable scope within the role to use your vision and creativity to develop something unique that is tailored to community need.
