Regional Sales Business Development Manager – Riverina (Wagga Wagga)
Reporting to – Sales Manager
Leading Edge Data Centres is empowering the digital economy of regional Australia through building of our highly connected data centre network. Our world-class, Tier-III designed, edge data centres are helping people, businesses, communities and government to be better connected in regional Australia.
We currently have a network of six operational data centres across NSW in Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth, Dubbo, Wagga and Albury/Wodonga. We have an additional 12 properties in Victoria and Queensland ready for our network expansion.
We are looking for regional-based BDMs in Central West, Riverina and Murray regions of NSW to be part of our growing Sales team to generate local sales for our data centre, network and IT services.
We offer hybrid working and support a diverse workforce, with our team across NSW.
The RoleThis is a senior sales role. You would be:-
- Prospecting new records to generate leads/opportunities captured in the LEDC CRM leading to revenue
- Managing existing relationships to develop leads/opportunities to generate revenue
- Account management – quarterly engagement with existing LEDC customers by assigned portfolio to grow accounts and generate new leads/opportunities to revenue
- Be actively involved with business community associations and groups within the assigned region(s) to identify advocates and prospects to nurture into leads/opportunities to revenue
Drive revenue by:
- Cultivate our chosen market segments to develop and win new business by
- blanketing prospects with outbound activity
- cold calling our databases
- engaging with your personalnetwork
- responding to inbound enquiries
- Build a pipeline of adequate size to ensureconsistent on targetperformance
- Win incremental business with existing customers where appropriate
- Provide accuratesales forecasts on a regularbasis
- Build a Regional Sales plan in alignment with LEDC strategy
- Influence and educate customerson LEDC’s products,vision and value proposition
- Negotiate equitablecommercial agreements
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of LEDC’s value proposition, differentiation, products and service capability
- Maintain CRM reporting accuracy at all times– record everyopportunity early, keep contact detailsup to date, make notes of conversations

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and competencies:
Experience:- Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, sales executive or a relevant role within the Riverina (Wagga Wagga) region of NSW
- More than 5 years experience selling technology or an IT-related product or service with a proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support and relationship management
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Thorough knowledge of businesses in your area
- Communicate with clarity to customers and internally at all levels of management
- Ability to negotiate and close deals
- Ability to build rapport with others
- Time management and planning
- Have a high level of energy, determination, integrity, enthusiasm, creativity and a drive to succeed

Remuneration – base salary plus super and uncapped commission
