Our client, a renowned provider of top-tier business skills training for over four decades, is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive continued growth.
In this role, you'll lead sales and business development, collaborating closely with the Manager - Operations & Marketing to cultivate partnerships and explore new opportunities.
Your day-to-day will involve the full spectrum of sales activities from prospecting and qualifying, through to converting and closings, specifically:
- Prospecting: identifying and chasing potential customers via cold calling, networking events, and referrals. Handling initial inquiries from interested prospects via phone, email.
- Lead Qualification: assessing leads to determine their suitability and potential as customers, while leveraging your exceptional communication skills for cold calling / tele sales follow up.
- Manage a robust pipeline, to hit sales targets and KPIs.
- Negotiating terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients in line with company KPI’s.
- Closing sales: successfully securing commitments from clients overcoming objections and addressing concerns as needed.
- Building relationships with an existing and established customer base.
- Presenting products or servicesand solutions to clients highlighting how they address the client's specific needs and challenges, via phone, virtual meetings and in person.
- Account Management: identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell to improve loyalty.
- Documentation: reporting, completing sales paperwork and administration pre-sale and post-sale, and effectively capture all business activities via the company's CRM system (ZoHo).

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Min. 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management
- Experience in the corporate training or RTO sector would be an advantage
- Exceptional phone manner and written communication skills
- Ability to make cold calls in a B2B sales environment
- Seek opportunities to create potential clients and new business
- A positive attitude, autonomy, and ability for building lasting relationships
- Worked collaboratively in a small sales team environment
- Confident, organised, reliable and well-presented
- Motivated and resilient attitude towards targets
- A consultative and solutions focused approach to selling
