About the Role:
The primary function of the Regional Service Manager is to support the dealer network with technical guidance.
The Regional Service Manager will also carry out technical investigations in conjunction with Head Office to rectify field technical and quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical guidance/advice to the Dealer network via telephone, email, and technical portal
- Distribution of technical bulletins and recall information to the dealer networkCarry out dealer field service visits (assist dealers with vehicle diagnosis and repairs). Communicating with customers on the repair of their vehicle
- Perform dealer technical training on dealer field visits. Recording dealer training by dealer and dealer technician
- New dealership appointment technical training. Making sure the dealers have the correct special tool to completed vehicle repairs
- Dealer warranty spot audit. Making sure the dealers warranty process is operating correctly
- Technical investigation-QC reporting to HO Factory
- Introduce / manage a dealer Forman's meeting (focusing on dealer quality service /repairs, technical training programs, technical guidance/advice)
- Dealer quality service /repair audit. Making sure dealers are providing best practice technical Right First Time (RFT) vehicle service and repairs
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management
- CSI – dealer improvement process reviews
- Verification that dealers are adhering to the EV Australian Standards
- Ensuring dealers have enrolled with the Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority (AASRA) - Fit and proper person check.
Skills and Experience:
• Automotive technical experience essential
• Excellent knowledge of current automotive technology
• Previous experience working independently within a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Exceptional verbal and written skills
• Passion to identify and drive continuous process improvements
