Due to our continuous growth and expansion efforts, Bystronic is actively searching for a highly skilled and motivated Regional Service Manager (NSW, QLD + WA) to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain service coordination and scheduling within region (NSW, Qld + WA) - work towards 24 hour response time 90% of the time and all customer communications responded to within 1 hour.
- Day to day allocation of resources based on skills sets
- Reacting to machine break-down servicing
- Develop employees to deliver high level of customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for Service revenue including Spare parts, consumables, paid services, software maintenance contract renewals.
- Promote Preventive Maintenance contracts at customer site.
- Maintain high level of customer satisfaction within region on all Bystronic equipment.
- Maintain and develop customer service relationship. (inclusive regular visits into NSW, QLD & WA).
- Provide technical support to customers and service personnel.
- Follow up on Service Engineer visits to ensure quality during installations and service provided.
- Assist in negotiating settlement of customer complaints.
- Managing the upkeep and stocking of Engineers Toolboxes
- Liaising with Sales on upcoming machine sales
- Liaising with freight & logistics companies for new machine deliveries
- Determine warranty claims.
- Assist in collecting open or disputed service invoices.
- Facilitate performance appraisals.
Qualifications and skills required for the role:
- Minimum five years experience in Service Manager position
- Substantial professional experience in a related field.
- Bystronic experience would be ideal.
- Laser &/or Press brake experience would be looked on favourably
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior Service Experience is a must.
- Customer service skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP and/or any other similar ERP software systems is a plus.
- Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent
