Job description

Join our team as our new Regional Technical Manager

As our Regional Technical Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, leading our engineering teams and enhancing the technical management of our vessel assets. You will play an important role in overseeing and improving our supply chain management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and procedures, and building regional engineering capabilities.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining regional engineering processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your leadership will be key in monitoring and enhancing staff training and competency, ensuring our team is prepared for future projects. Additionally, you will help increase our industry presence by participating in professional associations and conferences, showcasing Atlantic’s expertise and commitment to excellence.

We are looking for someone with experience in technical management and a solid understanding of the engineering processes. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential. You should be proactive, dedicated to quality and safety, and excited about developing and supporting a talented team.

Requirements
  • Relevant university degree in Marine, Naval Architecture, Hydrodynamics or Offshore Engineering (Experience can compensate for lack of formally proven competence)
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience, fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Highly confident, self-motivated and self-disciplined person with sound management and organizational skills
  • Good technical skills
  • Good communication and interaction skills
  • Good organizational skills and smart working methods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with the employees
  • Good working knowledge of the company Business Management System
  • A sound understanding and working knowledge of statutory requirements, HSE regulations and Standards related to the Offshore Engineering industry
