Regional Water Officer

The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is seeking a Regional Water Officer with a strong background in water resource management with knowledge and skills in water conservation, allocation and sustainable usage and management practices.
The role provides advice and high quality customer service in response to water related enquiries, issues and activities that may impact on the sustainability of water resources within our region; this includes the assessment of water affecting activity permit applications, to ensure consistency with legislation, water policy and other statutory responsibilities.
The Water Officer will engage with volunteers, community and industry to develop initiatives, activities and projects that are designed to increase the awareness of healthy waterways and the sustainable management of water resources.
Special conditions: National Police Check essential; Working with Children check essential; First Aid / CPR essential; current driver’s licence essential.
