Safety Excellence
- Assist in the development of a Safety Excellence culture within the business via engagement of all staff and championing of safety
Stock Control
- Ensure physical stock control, verified by regular periodic cyclic counts and stocktakes
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure correctly documented measurement of material usages
Supply Chain & Procurement
- Replenishment of required inventory items
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships – price, terms
- Ensure best pricing, quality and lead times for key stock items

- Assist in monitoring of systems and reporting, to improve practices throughout the business taking into account changes in the business environment.
KEY POSITION CAPABILITIES
- Collaborative style working with your team & across multiple functional departments.
- Proficient with current Microsoft and business software systems.
- Strong depth of inventory control and supply chain experience.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
Mandatory
- 5 – 10 years industry experience in Inventory / Material Controller position within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated high level leadership and communication skills within multi functional business
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, supply chain and/or business management
- Leadership experience within a material management team.
Performance of the role will be measured against developed KPIs related to:
- Inventory Control & Reporting – timeliness and accuracy
- Supply chain lead times to manufacturing
- Staff engagement and satisfaction
The incumbent is required to hold a valid Australian or International Driver’s Licence, and travel is sometimes required.
The incumbent is required to be legally entitled to work in Australia
Nominated hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 17:00pm with a 60-minute lunch break between 11:00am – 14:00pm.
