Ballarat Day Procedure Centre comprises of three operating theatres and offers a broad range of surgical services for all patients. Surgical specialities include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, IVF, Plastics, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, ENT, General surgery and Dental.
We are seeking Registered & Enrolled Nurses to join us on a permanent or casual basis.
Experienced in Oncology
Experienced or interested in Theatre
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
2 years post graduate experience with at least 1-year clinical experience.
Exceptional clinical skills
Ability to respond to appropriately to emergency situations
Understanding of the principles of Infection Control, essential
Evidence of ongoing Professional Development
Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
High level of written and verbal communication skills
An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
Essential criteria
Current AHPRA nursing registration
Must be willing to be trained in theatre procedures.
