Registered Midwife - Dual or Direct Registered

Job Title: Midwife (Dual or Direct Registered)

Location: Regional NSW (Approximately 7 hours west from Sydney)

Contract Duration: 12-weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Accommodation: Free of charge

Travel Allowance: Up to $200 each way

End of Contract Bonus: $10,000 upon completing a 12-week contract (pro rata for length of contract)

Daily Allowance: Provided for each day worked

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Midwife for a 12-week contract. Whether you're a Dual or Direct Registered Midwife, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of mothers and newborns in a vibrant regional community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive antenatal, and postnatal care to mothers and their babies.
• Assisting with labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rates and administering medications as needed.
• Educating expectant mothers and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Midwife.
• Previous experience working as a Midwife in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and patient needs.
