We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife to join our team in Innisfail on a travel nurse contract. This role is perfect for a compassionate and skilled midwife who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and babies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care across ante-natal, birthing, and post-natal periods.
- Work independently as the sole midwife on shift, ensuring the highest standard of care.
- Support and mentor junior Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) midwives.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a midwife, including experience in ante-natal, birthing, and post-natal care.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with a passion for supporting junior staff.
