The Role:
UHC are seeking a Registered Nurse to partner with a male participant based in Springwood, QLD 4127. Our Participant sustained a sever traumatic brain injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.
You would be responsible for conducting training, clinical requirements and being the team leader.
The role would be commencing immediately and will be from Monday to Friday, in the day (06:00-14:00) and afternoon14:00-22:00). 38 hours will be guaranteed.
The participant requires tracheostomy management, continence management, medication management, pressure area/wound management, catheter management, PEG feeding etc.
Rate of Pay:
- Day - $60.00 per hour
- Afternoon - $66.00 per hour
- Night - $67.20 per hour
- Saturday - $90.00 per hour
- Sunday - $120.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administering medication and monitoring the effects
- Assessing and monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of residents
- Collaborating with other health care professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Communicating with Unidex Healthcare to keep them informed of the participant's condition
- Managing and overseeing care procedures, restorative care, safe behavioural management, and health emergency responses
- Following clinical policies and procedures and providing leadership in infection control and disaster situations
- Provide leadership and supervision to care team

Skills & Experiences:
- Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate III in Individual Support
