About the Role
We are seeking an experienced surgical nurse to join our team at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital.
Our surgical/ medical ward specialises in plastics, gynaecology, urology, dental, ENT, orthopaedics and general surgery. We pride ourselves in giving exceptional patient centred care. We work together with a team of successful world class surgeons.
A fulltime/ part time or casual opportunity is available to the successful nurse as the hours are negotiable. The candidate will be joining a team of positive and experienced nurses.
Your skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in a surgical recovery ward.
Essential:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Experience in a surgical ward setting desired
- Any relevant post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]
