About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team in our Special Care Nursery at North West Private Hospital to provide our patients with specialised and dedicated care.
As a Registered Nurse you will be part of the core team who with the support of the Paediatricians will oversee the care of all babies within the SCN unit and support staff in the Ward and Birth suite in neonatal emergencies. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and delivering care in conjunction with the Paediatrician.
You will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work alongside a supportive team of nurses, midwives, medical professionals and clinical support staff.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage you time effectively to meet your responsibilities.
Experience within Special Care Nursery is essential. The flexibility to work a rotating roster with on call components along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.
You will also demonstrate:
- Nursing registration with AHPRA registration as an RN.
- Postgraduate maternity qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.
- Demonstrates excellent time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Experience with adult gynae and women's health desirable.
Remuneration
$40.47 - $52.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife gr2-gr8) [FTE $79,968.72 - $103,127.44]

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
