About the opportunity
We have an opening for a Project Manager to join our team on a Parental Leave Replacement contract until 30 June 2025. This is a part time role 0.8 FTE with flexibility on days worked. Geelong based with hybrid working.
Within this role you will lead and deliver Phase 2 of our Data Retention and Destruction Project, a 2-year project that has commenced this year. This will be the first year of a 2-year project that started in April and is jointly sponsored by our Chief Information Officer and Chief Risk Officer.
About you
As the ideal candidate you’ll bring experience managing technical risk-based projects, an understanding of data privacy standards, along with the following;
- 4+ years project management experience managing high value, highly complex pieces of work
- Certification: PMP
- Qualification: Batchelor’s Degree or higher
- Ability to work as part of a project team within a cross functional environment and to deal with multiple stakeholders, building strong effective relationships
- Demonstrated experience in change and transformational management
- Great communication, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with cross functional team environments
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with ambiguity with the Ability to think strategically while maintaining a detail focus
Highly desirable
- Private Health Insurance experience
- Business Analyst experience
- Leadership experience
- Natural facilitation skills
