Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Registered Nurse for their Perioperative Scrub/Scout Unit. Suitable applicants with a clinical background in any of the following specialities are encouraged to apply:

Exciting new expansion for Knox Private Hospital Work is well underway on a major expansion of Knox Private Hospital that will help us continue to meet the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne's east. The new multi-million-dollar expansion will help Knox Private deliver an expanded and enhanced service offering for our patients, and will further cement our reputation as a world-class healthcare facility. 2023/2024 Expansion Project includes: Three story North Tower with two wards (60 beds), upgrade and increase in ICU and CCU beds, upgrade to Knox Heart Centre (our non-invasive diagnostic cardiology), 16 chair renal dialysis unit and Specialist Consulting Suites. As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver evidence based nursing care
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA and a minimum 2 years' experience
Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Basic computer skills

For any questions, please reach out to If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025" (salaries range between $35.33 and $47.25 per hour).
