Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Our Clinic:
Nestled within our GP clinic, Dr. Meena Kundu and Dr. Raj Poonia lead a dedicated team committed to comprehensive healthcare. From routine check-ups, immunisations to specialised treatments, we offer a wide range of general practice services alongside our expertise in aesthetics procedures, such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and skin rejuvenation therapies, as well as hair transplantation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with best practices and clinic protocols.
- Ensure that the aesthetic aspects of patient care are upheld, fostering an environment conducive to healing and comfort.
- Assist physicians during consultations, examinations, and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, including immunisations.
- Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control and occupational health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with AHPRA requirements.
- COVID vaccine as per SA Health criteria.
- Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting, preferably in general practice.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate working visa.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience or keen interest in aesthetics and hair transplantation.
- While experience in hair transplant procedures is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Your role will involve assisting in surgeries, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and delivering top-notch care.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for aesthetics and helping clients achieve their desired look.
- Additional certifications or training in relevant areas such as wound care, immunizations, or chronic disease management.
The hours of employment for this position are set at 22.50 hours per week, divided across three days, with regular working hours scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break. Salary for this role will be in accordance with the Nurse Award 2010 (Award Code MA000034) and will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
