Our client based in Wallsend is seeking two experienced Registered Nurse's to join their team on a Permanent Part Time basis.
One position will be working the afternoon and night shifts, while the other position will be working night shift only.
Afternoon & night shift position
Afternoon shifts are on a two week rotating roster.
Week one: 3pm-10.45pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Week two: 3pm-10.45pm
Wednesday and Thursday
Night shift position
Night shifts are on a two week rotating roster
Week one: 10.15pm-7.30am
Friday
Week two:10.15pm-7.30am
Friday, Saturday and Sunday

About the role:
- Provide clinical care to consumers in accordance with their needs, goals and preferences
- Administer medications
- Attend to treatment, dressings and observations
- Completing all medical charts
- Follow and implement care plans
- Conduct clinical monitoring and auditing processes
- Assist and support in personal care and other supports tasks on a shift by shift basis
- Develop and maintain a professional rapport with consumers and their families
- Additional responsibilities within the scope of your role
About you:
- Must hold current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Min 12 months paid AGED CARE experience (in Australia or reciprocal country)
- National Criminal Police Check (Must be in the last 2 years)
- Genuine passion for caring for the elderly
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (no sponsorship is on offer for these roles)
- Experience and knowledge of dementia care (not essential)
- An understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation process
