The role
We are looking for Registered Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 96-bed facility in Yaralla Place, Maryborough.
You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
What you will do
The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring:
- Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
- Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans
- Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
- Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
- Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
- Provision of safe, high quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Positive resident experience through resident-first approach
- Registration with the AHPRA as a registered/enrolled nurse is essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hold and maintain NDIS Worker Checks as per NDIS Act 2013 (or willing to obtain)
- 2 doses of Covid vaccine
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
- Contract Type: Permanent Part Time & Full time Contract
- Hours: Minimum 20 Hours per fortnight
- Salary Range: Competitive Base Rate + 11% Superannuation + NFP salary packaging + allowances
