REGISTERED NURSE

Main Street Medical Centre is a respected family-owned General Practice situated in Osborne Park; we are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. As an accredited practice boasting modern facilities and comprehensive computerization, we prioritize providing exceptional patient care within a collaborative environment.

Position Details:

Location: Osborne Park, Perth

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Salary: To be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize general nursing skills encompassing immunizations, spirometry, ECG, injections, wound management, ear irrigation, and procedural assistance.
• Participate in emergency care duties within a team framework.
• Manage Cold Chain procedures meticulously.
• Oversee patient preparation and monitoring during iron infusions and venesections.
• Uphold infection control standards, including equipment sterilization.
• Contribute to chronic disease management initiatives, catering to patients with complex health conditions.
• Drive quality improvement programs and promote preventative healthcare.
• Manage stock efficiently and engage in population health activities.

Essential Criteria:

• Current, unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA
• Certification in Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunization Program Course (South Australia, or equivalent), or a commitment to completing the course before commencement.
• Valid CPR certification
• Prior experience in a Practice Nurse or similar role.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a compassionate and collaborative patient-centred approach.
• Demonstrates proficiency in multitasking Problem-solving, and time management.
• Familiarity with Best Practice software but not essential.
