About the role
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses with a true passion for Aged Care, a strong focus on person centered care. Macpherson Smith Residential Care is a 36-bed facility providing quality care to our community. We are a caring and energetic team who share the likeminded goal of providing excellence in residential care. Our home is well supported by our Allied Health and Leisure and Lifestyle team to deliver personalised care, individual choice and quality outcomes for all people.
Skills and Experience
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Compliance with National Aged care quality Standards
- Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
- Demonstrated provision of high-quality resident care
- High motivation and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of reliability and professional conduct

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
