Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
2. Clinical Procedures: Administer medications, perform medical treatments, and assist physicians in various clinical procedures.
3. Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor patients' vital signs, observe and assess their condition, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
5. Patient Education: Provide health education to patients and their families, offering guidance on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
7. Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated and addressed within the healthcare team.
8. Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with the healthcare team as needed.
9. Compliance: Adhere to healthcare policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and effective care environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Pay:
Our Morning & Afternoon pay rates for our Agency Registered Nurses start at $68 and rise to 100 on Sunday for metro
