Exciting opportunities exist for motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Registered Nurses to join the Perioperative Services Unit at a private hospital in Melbourne. Multiple permanent positions are available.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES With the assistance and direction of the Perioperative Services Manager and the ANUM team, you will provide assistance within the unit to ensure efficient and effective management of the patients by coordinating the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality nursing care.
As an Anaesthetic Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Sound clinical knowledge;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Working with Children check (if relevant);
- At least 1 year of experience in the acute setting/relevant to position advanced skills;
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills;
- Positive role modeling behaviors;
- Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritisation;
- Ability to work within a dynamic and changing environment;
- A high degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases.
