St Luke’s Ward is a 28 bed unit which delivers high quality, comprehensive care to our medical patients with a strong focus on acute cardiology, including cardiac intervention, stroke and general medical. Our team works in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to deliver high quality care. The team on St Luke’s Ward works towards a common goal of delivering high quality patient care which is driven by evidence-based practise through quality initiatives.

This role will be part-time and pivotal in providing quality services to our patients and visitors in a caring, friendly atmosphere.

ABOUT YOU:
As a Registered Nurse employed by St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba, you will bring your passion for the profession and will be responsible for driving quality health care in your daily practise
Your skills will include:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
- Passion for providing quality patient centred care
- Possess critical thinking, and time management skills whilst working in a dynamic and fast paced clinical environment
- Cardiac experience (desirable)
REMUNERATION:
Classification/Grade: $40.00 - $51.40 + salary packaging + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
