An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Registered Nurse keen to become part of the Cardiology Department at a private hospital in Canberra. This position offers a permanent full-time role.ROLE OVERVIEWAs a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
• Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards;
• Ability to manage risk;
• Sound knowledge of Registered Nursing standards;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills.
