Where you'll be working:

John Hunter Hospital holds the distinction of being the only Tertiary Referral Centre for Trauma in Northern NSW. Additionally, its Emergency Department is the busiest in the state and the second busiest in the country.


Our esteemed team of cardiac specialists handles a diverse range of cardiac cases, in addition to conducting groundbreaking research.


As the largest teaching hospital in Hunter New England, John Hunter Hospital collaborates closely with nearby tertiary training institutions and takes pride in housing the HNE Simulation Centre.

About the role:

  • You will look after post-operative and pre-operative care for surgical patients
  • You will work closely with the patients, families, carers, and our exceptional multi-disciplinary team as we promote optimal health outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
