A fantastic chance awaits a proactive and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the dynamic and dedicated team at Cath Lab at a private hospital located on the Gold Coast. It is a full-time permanent role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterisation lab;
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications;
- The desire and ability to mentor staff and the ability to work within a diverse team;
- Excellent communication and advanced interpersonal skills;
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.

The hospital, located on the Gold Coast, is a 336-bed, 22-operating theatre facility.
