About the Role and Service:
Department of Health are seeking applicants for the role of Registered Nurse - Community to work for the North West Community Rapid Response Service (ComRRS).
The North West ComRRS is a community based, hospital avoidance service that works collaboratively with the client's GP to provide care in the client's home that they would otherwise have to go to hospital to receive.
ComRRS is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) lead service that operates 7 days per week, 14 hours per day.
ComRRS clinicians deliver timely, complex, client centred care across the North West Coast of Tasmania.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with demonstrated advanced clinical skills to work within a service model that requires a rapid acute response to those in the community with an acute illness or an exacerbation of a pre-existing complex or chronic condition. Permanent part time shift-worker position working 48 hours per fortnight commencing from May 2024
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: * Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Current Driver's Licence
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- serious traffic offences
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
