The role: The Registered Nurse - Community Mental Health:
Consistent with ongoing experience, strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals and community sector organisations within the defined community practice area.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high quality Mental Health services, provides a specialist Mental Health service within the community setting for a designated client group utilising evidence based practices and recovery principles.
Interact effectively with patients/clients families and other health team members to facilitate the provision of optimum patient/client care.
Active involvement in maintaining and continually improving the quality of patient/client care which may include participation in research and evidence based practice.

community teams across Tasmania
inpatient service for assessment and treatment
day centre program in southern Tasmania
case management
As a part of our unique Southern Community Team, you will work in a multidisciplinary team including Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff, providing case management, working in partnership with our clients/consumers and their families. We want staff who are innovative with a positive professional outlook, and who can work autonomously out in the community, as well as support a teamwork ethos.
Details of Appointment
Multiple permanent full time and part time, day worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $75,902 - $102,908 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Current Driver’s Licence
Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)
