The role:
- In collaboration with members of the healthcare team plan, implement and evaluates patient/client care.
- Interact effectively with patients/clients families and other health team members to facilitate the provision of optimum patient/client care.
- Active involvement in maintaining and continually improving the quality of patient/client care which may include participation in research and evidence based practice.
- Identify and meet educational needs of patients/clients and their families/significant others.

Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Access to the Grade 4 salary range $90,293 - $96,428 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Current Driver’s Licence
Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Possess specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate Mental Health/psychiatric nursing qualification
