About the role:The Registered NurseCritical Care role will be challenging, diverse, and crucial in providing care to critically ill or unstable patients.
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Continuously monitoring the vital signs of critically ill patients, using advanced medical equipment. Administering medications, intravenous fluids, and sometimes participate in more complex treatments like blood transfusions or dialysis. Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals with procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, lumbar punctures, and more. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, including setting goals for improvement and recovery. Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to help navigate through the complexities of Critical Care treatment. Provide accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and observed outcomes. AHPRA ANMAC (if overseas) Demonstrated RECENT experience in Critical Care Unit (CCU) Exceptional clinical skills and ability to make quick, confident decisions Strong communication and teamwork abilities Relevant certifications and qualifications in Critical Care Nursing Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment ALS Competence At least 2 years of recent experience in this role.
